Meet Our Administration
Principal — Linda Kaplan
Linda brings over 40 years of education and camping experience to Ivy League. In 1969, she began teaching nursery school at Ivy League. Since then, Linda spent most of her career helping the school to grow. Linda worked at Ivy League as, (1) a pre-school and kindergarten classroom teacher, (2) a music teacher, (3) elementary school curriculum developer, and (4) pre-school director of Ivy League’s annex in Middle Island.
Director of Teaching and Learning — Myrna Gartenstein
Myrna is an innovative administrator and educator with a proven record of accomplishments and extensive experience in designing educational programs to improve teaching and learning. She brings a thorough knowledge of the educational landscape, an ability to motivate others, and experience in relating to people of diverse backgrounds, to Ivy League. At various times in her fifty year career, Myrna (1) taught at every grade level
Owners — Noah Cooper & Margaret Velez-Cooper
As owners and directors of Ivy League, Margaret and Noah have transformed the school into an unparalleled educational institution with outstanding (1) academic curricula, (2) facilities, and (3) extra-curricular programs such as ceramics, Chinese calligraphy & Mandarin.
