Elementary Overview

Ivy League’s 21st Century Elementary School curriculum has gone beyond mastery of traditional academics by preparing students to live in a growing and interdependent global society. Spanish, Mandarin and information technologies are part of the curriculum. Education is future-oriented, and exceeds all local and national learning standards. Teachers stress higher order thinking skills and “habits of mind” that are the foundation of abstract thinking, imagination and judgment. A dedicated and highly experienced faculty is supported by specialists in art, music, physical education and teachers of foreign languages.
