Tuition Assistance Program
Ivy League School strives to provide tuition assistance, which includes scholarships and/or financial aid. Our goal is to attract bright students with exceptional talents, drive and ambition, regardless of their ability to afford full tuition for a particular school year. Any family with applicants entering grades K-8 can apply, and assistance will be based on the specific needs of the family and by the funds available annually.
Scholarships and financial aid are renewable annually. The amount of family income and student's satisfactory progress will determine the continuation of scholarship status. To maintain eligibility, students will be expected to meet or exceed the parameters of the award.
Eligibility:
Any family can apply, and if approved, a confidential, letter will be sent outlining the terms of the award. The amount of tuition assistance will be determined in part, by the funds available annually.
Duration of Tuition Assistance:
Scholarships and financial aid are renewable annually. The amount of family income and student's satisfactory progress will determine the continuation of scholarship status. To maintain eligibility, students will be expected to meet or exceed the parameters of the award.
Application Procedures:
Tuition assistance awards are granted for tuition only and are based on need for the upcoming academic year in accordance with the school's tuition assistance budget. Ivy League School utilizes the School and Student Service (SSS) website (school code 187432) by the National Association of Independent School (NAIS), an impartial, third-party service in its Tuition Assistance Program.
Families wishing to apply for tuition assistance must complete and file the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) with the SSS, and submit a copy of all required tax documents by February 1st. The SSS provides an objective calculation of a family's ability to pay their child's tuition to Ivy League's Tuition Assistance Committee. The committee reviews the SSS report and supporting documentation and makes an informed decision. Applications, all other paperwork submitted, and tuition assistance awards are kept in strict confidence. Applications for tuition assistance received after the deadline, will only be considered if additional tuition assistance funds are available. Tuition assistance is not a consideration in determining a student's eligibility for admission.
Ivy League will not contact other parties without the expressed permission of the applicant's parent or guardian. Ivy League School does not discriminate based on race, religion or national origin. All parts of the application, including financial information are due no later than February 1st. Scholarship recipients will be notified on or before March 15th. Applications will be considered in the order in which they are received.
In addition, Ivy League families are able to utilize an outside financing company, www.yourtuitionsolution.com, to tailor a payment plan that meets the individual needs of the family.
